Sharing a story...

Hi Sandstorm-ers,

I want to share a story that my English teacher, Ms Tan had shared with my class.

WITH ALL MY HEART

A friend who works in the personnel department of a large company told me about a young woman he had interviewed recently.
''She didn't have much experience. Really wasn't qualified for the job. But she wanted it so badly. She said, 'Just give me a chance. I promise to work at it with all my heart.' ''
He hired her. That was several months ago. And she had turned out to be a first-rate employee.
No wonder. She did the job ''with all her heart.'' And when you give your best to a challenging situation, failure is next to impossible.
That phrase sticks in my mind - ''with all my heart.'' It sounds quaint, old-fashioned. Perhaps because I haven't used it myself in such a long time.
I want to remember it well. And the next time I begin a task that seems more than I can handle, I want to give it all my energies, all my intelligence, all my heart.

-END-

I personally think that the story is inspiring and motivating. What do you think about the story? What do you think about these phrases:
- ''When you give your best to a challenging situation, failure is next to impossible.''
- ''Give it all my energies, all my intelligence, all my heart.''

Guys, I believe that we can do it. I believe that our squad's morale and attitude can improve drastically before February. But, this is a task that seems more that WE can handle, but if WE give it all OUR energies, all OUR intelligence, all OUR hearts, failure is next to impossible.

So now what? Sandstorm-ers, let's all jiayou! And with that, i mean all of our attitudes too.

The first thing we can do to show our improvement is to hand in all 26 CCA Maze Reports together tomorrow, with the SAME STANDARDISED format. Example of the format would be:

(TAKE NOTE OF: the rank, the date, the title, the spacings, etc.)

If you do not have a printer, or your printer no ink, you can find your squadmates to ask them to help you print.

Let's do it together, Sandstorm-ers!
