May is drawing nearer and nearer and soon, your CLs and I will be
stepping down. We have only 5-6 activities left with you all... Are you guys ready to take on that leadership role? Will the unit achieve greater heights with you?
Think about these:
-Attitude
-Commitment
...-Dedication
-Role model
-Long-term goals for your cadets
-Inspiration
-Leaders, being above average or just mediocre?
Be that change you want to see. Leaders think much, much more that what they do. You guys should really start thinking on how you intend to take over the unit. I really look forward to seeing the unit soar to greater heights under you guys.
"Leaders are not born. They are made. They are made like anything else, through HARD WORK. That's the price we have to pay to achieve any goal.
"A great leader's courage to fulfill his vision comes from PASSION, NOT POSITION"
"Leaders lead by EXAMPLE"
Start something now, and achieve great things at the end. Squad Sandstorm, all the way. :)

Personal thoughts :
We have been through a long way,we are going to take over very
soon. Since we are already in NP , why not make the best out of every opportunity?Even after the posting and all, We still have got MANY obstacles to overcome.
Guys,we must admit the fact that the generations are changing, which also in turn affects our unit standard. CREATE your own style of teaching,we don't need to follow the exact steps of the pass CL's . We must be more understanding and strike out an even more strict balance of discipline , kindness etc.. Start thinking of how you are going to take over, whatever post you may get, contribute to the very best you can . A post is just a title of acknowledgment, however you work from it is a whole different thing.
Lastly,i just want to stress this last and most important thing, We are a squad, we have been through suffering, pain and joy. Lets make our lifes here a memorable one. Whatever the posting, lets keep our bonds strong and contact.
Squad sandstorm JYs!
